CECH´S MILL

The Cech´s mill is located right by the river Berounka, about 70 km west from Prague, the capital city of the Czech Republic. The mill is a family property dating all the way back to the 15th century. Since 1916 a small water driven electricity plant has been a part of the mill, and visitors can also find a small museum here, about the history of local electricity.

The surrounding area is a nature conservation area with a diverse plant and animal life, ideal for relaxation and beautiful hikes and walks in nature. The river Berounka also attracts people during the summer months for canoeing and swimming.

Very close to the mill one can find a special place in the forest, called “the Czech Lourdes” by people. The geomagnetic radiation here was measured at 7.8 Hz, which is close to the alpha state of the brain. Some people has reported that they experienced improvements in their health status after spending some time here, and others experience a relaxing feeling while at this place.
